On 12-14 of March the AgroCycle partners have met together with the European Commission Research Executive Agency (REA) at Harper Adams University (Newport, UK) to carry out the project mid-term review. As foreseen by H2020 rules, this periodical review covers the activities of the project carried out during the first reporting period (in this case from the beginning of the project until November 2017).

CEMA Secretary General, Jérôme Bandry, joined the meeting with the aim of getting up to speed on the project progress and reinforce the linkages with the activities undertaken by CEMA. This was also the opportunity for him to meet the rest of the AgroCycle consortium and reinforce the CEMA research network in Europe.

AgroCycle Newsletter

Few days after the project review meeting, the last AgroCycle Newsletter has been released with the aim of outlining ongoing developments in the project and providing updates on the European circular economy sector.

The Newsletter provides details about relevant events and initiatives around Europe, such as for the launching of three new EIP-AGRI focus groups, one of those will work on “Reducing food loss on the farm” (for more information, please visit here).

Moreover, the Newsletter’s section on public initiatives and updates on policies in the agricultural sector includes a “bite-size” news specifically focusing on our sector, with the presentation of the brand-new Methane powered tractorrecently introduced by New Holland Agriculture (a global ag. brand of CNH Industrial).
