This became clear at the fourth meeting of economic experts of the largest agricultural machinery associations worldwide, held in December at the EIMA Agrimach exhibition in New Delhi, India.

Press release: European Tractor Market 2010

Data collected by CEMA suggests that the total market for tractors in those 19 countries of Europe covered by its statistical analysis decreased by 9.4% in 2010 with the 5 largest markets of France, Germany, Italy, UK and Spain all seeing market declines in what proved to be a tough year. However, a recovery started in the latter months and CEMA expects that there will be an increase in sales in 2011.
