CEMA position on the revision of Directive 97/68/EC on exhaust emissions

The current plans of the European Commission foresee new emission limits for all power categories of engines installed in agricultural machinery. Meeting these new requirements will require significant efforts and resources from manufacturers, particularly since these limits would be introduced within only 3 or 4 years after the entry into force of the Regulation. This will prove extremely challenging, particularly for the many SMEs active in our sector.

Joint Call to CEN and CENELEC on placing industry at the core of European standardisation governance

CEMA-AEM-VDMA Joint Statement on Safeguard Measures for Combine Harvesters Imposed by the EEC

This letter refers to the Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission № 143 of 25 June 2013 and the Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission № 223 from 15 October 2013 imposing import quotas on combine harvesters and components thereof for the period from 1 January 2014 to 21 August 2016. The total import quota for the CU is set at 774 units in 2014, 798 units in 2015 and 526 units in 2016 (up to 21 August).
