CEMA and 92 EU trade associations called for a stronger Research budget under the new European Commission

CEMA together with numerous European industry associations voiced a joint statement to urge EU Institutions to make research, development and innovation (RD&I) a priority within the next Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027. CHECK HERE

During the past European Parliament Plenary Session in Strasbourg, MEPs approved a €100 million top-up for the EU’s research programmes (€80 million for Horizon 2020) and youth mobility (€20 million for Erasmus+).

CEMA welcomes this decision and encourages policy-makers to support Europe’s potential to lead the innovation race and to remain a model of economic and social prosperity at global level.
