If you are interested in IOT, modern farm machinery and project management, take your chance!

The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation e.V. (AEF) is looking for a Project manager to lead the AEF project team dedicated to a EU-funded project on standards in IoT communication. Find all details HERE.

The deadline was set at 25 September 2019 but good applicants are still welcome.

The EU project is called ATLAS and was approved under the call DT-ICT-08-2019 - Agricultural digital integration platforms. The overall objective of ATLAS is the development of an open digital service platform for agricultural applications and to build up a sustainable ecosystem for innovative data-driven agriculture using this integration platform. The platform will allow the flexible combination of agricultural machinery, sensor systems and data analysis tools to overcome the problem of lacking interoperability and to enable farmers to increase their productivity in a sustainable way by making use of the most advanced digital technology and data.

More in particular the platform will define a service architecture providing hardware - and software-interoperability layers which enable the acquisition and sharing of data from a multitude of sensors and the analysis of this data using a multitude of dedicated analysis approaches.

ATLAS will put significant effort into the definition of the next generation standards for a data driven agriculture.

The start date is 1 October 2019.
