A CEMA delegation will be formed

In the process of revision of Machinery Directive and of Outdoor Noise Directive, European Commission has decided to launch a call for application linked to the creation of two new groups of experts.

CEMA will apply to both calls to support its members involvement:

  • For Machinery Directive, where CEMA is particularly interested in the discussions related to autonomous functions, robots, artificial intelligence, as well as existing requirements on mobility
  • For Outdoor Noise Directive, where CEMA targets woodchipper, under the naming “shredder/chipper”. The coverage of this machine is shared with EGMF.
