The new European Parliament’s Sustainable, long-term investment & competitive European Industry Intergroup launched its activities with an event on 26th October 2020.

CEMA, who is one of the partners of this intergroup, looks favourably to the start of its activities and the exchanges that it will facilitate, bringing together the areas of industry, competitiveness & investments with sustainable finance and greening of the EU economy. The group will be co-chaired by MEPs Simona Bonafé (S&D), Maria da Graça Carvalho (EPP) and Dominique Riquet (RE).

The intergroup’s website lists the focus topics of the group as:

The launch event saw a rich panel of speakers and lively discussions, with over 500 virtual attendees.
