The final corrections to the technical requirements for agricultural vehicles under the type approval regulation 167/2013 are out and implemented
On 6th June, the last amending regulations to the existing delegated Regulations under 167/2013 were published on the Official Journal of the European Union.
They concern:
- Delegated Regulation 2018/828 as amendment and correction to the Delegated Regulation 2015/68 on the functional safety in relation to braking (implementation on 9 June)
- Delegated Regulation 2018/829 as amendment and correction to the Delegated Regulation 2015/208 on functional safety (implementation on 9 June)
- Delegated Regulation 2018/830 as amendment and correction to the Delegated Regulation 1322/2014 on general and construction requirements (implementation on 26 June)
A cooling down period would now certainly help to normalise the situation of type-approval of agricultural machinery.
