Brussels, 6 March 2014 – CEMA is pleased to announce that TARMAKBIR, the Turkish Association of Agricultural Machinery & Equipment Manufacturers, has decided to join CEMA as an associated member. Founded in1978, TARMAKBIR currently gathers 250 manufacturers of agricultural machinery in Turkey.
CEMA President Gilles Dryancour said: ‘We are extremely pleased that TARMAKBIR has decided to join and strengthen the CEMA network as an associated member. Transnational cooperation and the ability to develop joint industry positions are of strategic importance for our sector in an increasingly globalized world.’
Şenol Önal, President of TARMAKBIR added: ‘We look forward to strengthening our links with CEMA and to supporting the association’s activities in the future. We are confident that adding our national expertise from Turkey will be a valuable contribution to CEMA.’
