The Agrievolution Alliance global coalition of agricultural equipment manufacturing organizations welcomes China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA) as its newest member. The alliance fosters collaborative action on industry issues, data exchange and public policy outreach.
 
The Agrievolution Alliance growth broadens its scope in key world regions, and it strengthens the alliance mission to advance agricultural interests worldwide and promote better understanding of how vital agriculture machinery is to sustain a growing world population.
 
The China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), located in Beijing, includes approximately 300 equipment manufacturing companies in its membership.
 
Since its formation two years ago, the Agrievolution Alliance has grown to 13 associations representing agriculture equipment manufacturers in Brazil, China, European Union, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Turkey, United States and United Kingdom.
 
Agrievolution Alliance activities include:

  • Conducting global market-data surveys for members’ business  planning and for public policy officials, business leaders and the general public to become more aware of the industry’s economic value
  • Organizing Agrievolution Summits as world forums for top government officials, agricultural equipment manufacturers and other industry leaders to share knowledge and build relationships as they examine critical issues of global agriculture
  • Supporting industry efforts such as the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) that advance industry standardization efforts that promote efficiency and productivity
