The TotY award ceremony took place online

CEMA was this year given the chance to make a short intervention during the annual Tractor of the Year awarding ceremony. CEMA Secretary General Jerome Bandry intervened during the live-streamed ceremony, which closed a long round of voting and judging by a jury of specialized-press journalists. In his contribution, Jerome Bandry highlighted the key role of technology and the agricultural machinery sector to further enable sustainable farming. He also reminded participants that 2020 was a particularly hard year, but that agricultural machinery manufacturers proved their resilience by ensuring continuity of service for farmers, cooperatives and contractors.  Congratulations again to the winners, and a big salute to the real heroes behind the wheel: our European farmers.

Dating back to 1998, the Tractor of the Year award aims at encouraging technological innovation in agriculture, fostering progress and, above all, recognizing excellence in the sector.
