The general business climate index of the agricultural machinery industry in Europe continues its winning streak. Again this month the index increases to reach 42 points. 

Within the EU markets, a majority of surveyed participants expect a turnover increase for the next six months. In Germany, the market is improving and expectations are once again solidifying. Spain reports a stable but less enthusiastic situation. Turnover expectations for France, Italy and the UK are improving. Besides, French companies start reporting an increase of order intakes. Finally, the CIS countries recover their leading position in terms of turnover expectations.  

As regards components, manufacturers show once again excellent values on all indicators.

Looking at product segment, business for arable equipment and harvesting equipment gained ground due to the harvesting season. For livestock equipment, the divergence between future expectations and current business evaluation is persisting.
